Soon, SpongeBob’s on the mirrors and paying attention to pedestrians part of the test which he initially fails at but after getting a scolding from Sergeant Roderick, he masters that too. When it comes time to put the boat back together though, SpongeBob only succeeds in converting it into a rocket which would be cool if this were rocket science but since this is boating school, it’s unneeded. Next, Sergeant Roderick has SpongeBob take apart a boat which he succeeds in since he’s an expert at wrecking them (especially in his driving tests).

Well, now SpongeBob knows how to be the boat. Inspired by Sergeant Roderick’s speech, SpongeBob passes the crawling section of the test and soon moves onto walking barefoot and running passing both. Sergeant Roderick on the other hand isn’t impressed by how much of a wimp SpongeBob is and lectures him on his incompetence before making him do it again. However, SpongeBob can’t even do that right since he ends up getting distracted by a pebble that ends up in his palm and predictably crashes. Soon, Sergeant Roderick’s strict rules and overall scariness scare everyone but SpongeBob away. Well, SpongeBob’s awful driving begs to differ. The new teacher’s a former drill sergeant by the name of Sergeant Roderick who is a very tough teacher that vows to make the next four weeks gruesome for the students. SpongeBob doesn’t have much time to be more guilty since the new teacher’s now here. Just goes to show that while SpongeBob may be an awful driver, he does have a good heart. The next day, SpongeBob’s feeling pretty guilty over causing Mrs. Puff’s actually very happy since now she never has to deal with SpongeBob’s awful driving ever again and can stop losing her sanity. Predictably, SpongeBob ends up failing his driving test for the billionth time.
